Firefighters

Safety, Performance and Professionalism.

GFP Enterprises, Inc. is a private sector wildland firefighting company that provides multiple government agencies twenty person hand crews and wildland fire engines to aid in the suppression of wildland forest fires. Our firefighters have fought fires in every Western State and many Eastern States, from the Oregon Coast Range to Glacier National Park in Montana, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming to the Los Padres National Forest near Ojai California, to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky. Our personnel have been dispatched to fires as early as March and as late as November. We have performed work on small initial attack fires less than one acre to large complex fires over 200 thousand acres.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to include emergency mobile services, specializing in temporary housing, mobile HVAC and power, and incident management. We have worked on a wide variety of AT RISK PROJECTS with high degrees of logistical complexity, including multiple full service base camps for FEMA, Louisiana Department of Social Services Comfort Stations, Management of Evacuee Centers and preparedness exercises for the National Guard.

In order to be hired for firefighting individuals must:
